Steve Ward and his family have endured many of the experiences that families dread. They faced alcoholism, drug abuse, depression, and marriage issues. But they learned a life-changing lesson in the process: God does his best work during our toughest times! The resilience and insights they found along their journey helped his family rise back to a rewarding and sustainable life.
Steve is a writer, speaker, and consultant in the areas of personal effectiveness, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth. He is the author of the book STEPS: A Daily Journey to a Better Life, and each week he published the STEPS Journey Blog and the Next Right Steps podcast. In 2018, he retired from IBM after 38 years to found a unique nonprofit organization named STEPS Ministries which helps people improve their lives, grow closer to God, and prevent addiction.
